The outdoor pool area was well-maintained and great fun for my kids. The cleanliness of our room exceeded expectations, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
However, the breakfast options were limited and could use more variety.

It was just an appropriate option for a lightning stop in Fredericksburg with reasonable value. The AC worked well in the room while the hallway was extremely warm for some strange reason. Make sure to test your key cards right away to avoid unnecessary trips back to the front desk.

Exceptional Service and Comfort
I had a wonderful stay with friendly staff and a very comfortable room. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the breakfast was delicious with hot offerings that set the day off right. The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower, which made it difficult at times.

The location of this Holiday Inn Express is fantastic, with several restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff welcomed me warmly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable, which made for a restful night. The AC worked perfectly in the muggy heat, keeping the room cool. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom raised some concerns. I noticed mildew on the shower curtain and the bathtub was not cleaned well, with noticeable dirt and hair clippings. The breakfast options were fine but could use more variety. While my stay overall met my basic expectations, it did leave room for improvement, especially regarding cleanliness and facilities during the renovations.

The Standard King Room was pretty decent overall. The room was clean and the bedding was super comfy. But the TV setup was confusing, had to use the remote buttons to change channels. Definitely some dust behind the TV, though, so cleaning could be better. No major complaints, but it wasn't the best I've seen. Staff were nice, which was a plus!
